The state government is contemplating to rope in Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar to publicize the importance of caste census, which will be rolled out in the state from December. Puneeth Rajkumar was also the brand ambassador for RTE along with Radhika Pandit.
Minister for Social Welfare H Anjenaya said, "To create awareness about caste census, we are planning to approach Puneeth Rajkumar and other Kannada actors who need to request to the people to actively participate in the case census." Currently, Puneeth is working on Ranavikrama and in next year he will start working for Doddamane Huduga, which will be directed by Soori.
